This is supposedly a landmark motel that has been glorified to "hotel" standards. It's located in Charlestown, W.V. right next to Harpers Ferry and the well known "Charlestown Races and casino" .

Upon MY EXPERIENCE with one night there this past summer, I would HIGHLY ""NOT"" Recommend this place. I reserved a room for one night and they confirmed my price and complete stay. When I arrived, the price was higher and did not disclose the "up-charge ' until after we checked in. Talking to the owner and arguing that all I wanted was $18.00 back ..they refused and even my bank disputed this with no avail.

I 'm only asking for a mere $18.00 back out of a $140.00 a night stay. I'm from Pittsburgh, Pa. and posted there too. NOT WORTH THE TRIP TO STAY HERE! ONLY ANGUISH!

I think its fair to let others know that THIS IS ONE PLACE TO STAY CLEAR OF!!! This place is a "REAL RIP-OFF" if they OWE you anything!!

There are "NEW" hotels now being built and bigger ands better restaurants so , NOW I know where to go ! Competition will rear it's ugly head.

I'll NEVER recommend ...or stay at this place again! I'll go 30 miles out of my way if I want to frequent the "Charlestown Races and Casino" and be happier than staying HERE!!!
